The cabinet doors will take twice as long as the cabinet bases because I am doing both sides of the doors. The bases are now stained with Ealy American and accents different marks that you might see in wood done in cedar and early american. The client didn't want too many knots, so basically if they were buying real wood cabinets, they would be buying a clearer, more expensive grade of wood. Instead, they are having me do their cabinets for a fraction of the cost and for a fraction of the mess and invasion of their kitchen! I am also doing the fan blades. It's really looking good! If I can figure out how to add pictures, I will! I have to say, the whole project is a little delayed because I am also working on the set for vacation bible school right now. |
